2. Information we process

We process the full name, country, email address, optional telephone number, trade, selected system and work-related details voluntarily submitted through the enquiry form. We also store the form language, submission time, source and campaign identifiers contained in the page address (UTM parameters and, where present, fbclid).

3. Purpose and legal basis

The information is used to respond to your request, arrange a personal consultation, prepare an offer, reserve a production slot and—if you proceed—fulfil the commission. Processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and subsequently to perform that contract. You are not subscribed to a newsletter.

Meta campaign measurement is activated only with your voluntary consent. Refusing consent does not affect your ability to use the website or submit an enquiry.

4. Retention

Enquiries that do not become commissions are normally deleted after 12 months. Information connected to an accepted commission may be retained for the duration required by accounting, warranty, guarantee or legal obligations. Your measurement preference remains in your browser’s local storage until you remove it through your browser settings.

5. Processors and international transfers

Access is limited to the controller and the technical providers required to operate and protect the website. The website and enquiry database run on OpenAI Sites and its supporting infrastructure. The details submitted through the form are also transferred to Klaviyo, which is used to organise the enquiry and send operational messages about it, including the confirmation of receipt. Submitting this form does not subscribe you to marketing emails. If campaign measurement is allowed, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited may receive information about a page view and a successful enquiry.

Some technical providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, transfers take place subject to the GDPR safeguards used by the relevant provider. Enquiries are not sold or used for unrelated advertising.

6. Campaign measurement and cookie choice

The Meta Pixel loads only after you select “Allow measurement”. If enabled, Meta may receive information about your visit and a successful enquiry. The site and form remain fully usable after choosing “Essential only”. Your choice is stored locally in your browser.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing and—where applicable—data portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. Send requests to info@matthewsleather.hu.

You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).
